RYAN SOO CHIN FOOK
Managing Partner & Founder
Ryan is our managing partner and co-founder. He has a knack for practical and practicable legal advice and solutions, and he is known for his big picture approach when it comes to providing solutions to his clients.

Ryan's field of expertise is in land, corporate, commercial advisory as well as in corporate and civil litigation. Ryan’s active portfolio includes land and building issues; shareholders, directors, and/or partnership disputes; banking and financial litigation; and general contractual disputes.
​
Ryan also has a niche in corporate advisory, which includes start ups and venture funds, project management and financing, corporate restructuring, winding-up actions, schemes of arrangement, and the appointments and management of receivers or liquidators.
​
Ryan is actively involved in the Sabah Law Society; consults on law reforms including corporate laws; and is regularly invited to give talks on various legal topics.
CHEOW ZE HAO
Partner
Ze Hao is a partner of our firm. He mainly assists our clients in general debt recovery matters, commercial and civil litigation, bankruptcy actions, and winding-up actions.
Ze Hao was awarded the Bachelor of Laws (Honours) at Cardiff University in 2013 and was called to the Utter Bar at the Honourable Society of the Middle Temple in 2016. After being admitted to the High Court in Sabah and Sarawak in 2018, Ze Hao was admitted as a partner of RYCO in 2020.

CHIN YEAN YEAN
Advocate & Solicitor
Since joining our team in 2020, Yean Yean has played a crucial role in the continued success of the firm. Her exceptional skill set, dedication to each task, and creativity has ensured the continued success of RYCO and RYCO's clients.
​
Yean Yean graduated with a Bachelor of Laws LLB at the University of Leeds in 2017 and obtained the Certificate of Legal Practice in 2018. After being admitted to the High Court of Malaya, Yean Yean was then admitted to the High Court in Sabah and Sarawak in 2021.

Yean Yean assists in corporate advisory, general debt recovery, and general litigation.

CHARLEEN CHU XIAO WEI
Advocate & Solicitor
After a thriving career in Messrs Lind Willie Wong & Chin, RYCO was pleased to welcome Xiao Wei to the team.
Xiao Wei graduated with a Bachelor of Laws (Honours) at the University of Sheffield in July 2015. After being called to the Bar of England and Wales at the Honourable Society of the Middle Temple in 2017, she was then admitted to the High Court in Sabah and Sarawak in 2019. Since February 2021, she is also an accredited mediator awarded at the principal level.

Xiao Wei's areas of practice include personal accident, debt recovery, taxation of costs, shipping, and tenancy matters.
​
In her practice, Xiao Wei has a record of 100% settlement outcomes via out-of-court negotiations and court-assisted mediations for personal accident matters.
